It's Sunday morning, and I've just finished breakfast on a rooftop restaurant overlooking the sea, where three dolphins have been playing and are now swimminig away. It's been a busy couple of weeks recently - the ad for Project Kerala is about to go in the TES and everything needs to be completely ready. Add to this the Keralan festival of Onam, which sees every amenity in the state run on half power for about a month, and it's been quite time-consuming to finish everything! However, we're now completely ready. Admittedly a couple of months behind schedule, but better to be sure than risk anything. Also, being a nerd when it comes to debating, I'm travelling to Bangalore on Tuesday to adjudicate at the regional finals of Debating Matters, India. I'm very nerdily excited - really keen to see what the best debaters in Kerala can do. Traditionally, students in Indian schools aren't used to speaking out in lessons, but times are changing and it's a great time to be involved in those changes. If you happen to be interested in debate in Indian schools, there are a couple of websites to google: one is Debating Matters India and the other is Chennai Debating Blogspot. Right, I'm off to find a Sunday paper.
